Childhood Memory #3
I have always loved babies and am very protective and determined. When my younger brother was born I wanted to hold him. My mom kept putting me off, so I decided to take things into my own hands. When she went out to hang up some clothes on the line, I locked the door behind her and went to get him. She discovered the door locked and yelled at me to open the door. All the while I am saying, “Just a minute, mommy, just a minute!”. I got to the door but not before I had successfully gotten Johnny and was holding him in a football hold with my arm around his neck saying, “I’m coming mommy!” Oh me. It is a wonder I didn’t choke him to death!
