Childhood Memory #3

I have always loved babies and am very protective and determined. When my younger brother was born I wanted to hold him. My mom kept putting me off, so I decided to take things into my own hands. When she went out to hang up some clothes on the line, I locked the door behind her and went to get him. She discovered the door locked and yelled at me to open the door. All the while I am saying, “Just a minute, mommy, just a minute!”. I got to the door but not before I had successfully gotten Johnny and was holding him in a football hold with my arm around his neck saying, “I’m coming mommy!” Oh me. It is a wonder I didn’t choke him to death!

Well, I'm back

My apologies to anyone who could not access my site. And, thanks to my two older sons for getting me back up and running.

I've been keeping busy at the pregnancy center. My client list is increasing from the summer months. I am working with and praying for one little gal with two children. Not only do I work as a mentor, but as a tutor in math. She is taking a course in secretarial skills. But my greatest burden for her is to see her come to know Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. I would appreciate your prayers for her.

Today is my grandson's birthday. He is eight years old. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JAMES! We ate lunch in a mexican restaurant after church today since he wanted fajitas. It seems my grandchildren are growing so fast.
