Grandma Anna's update
As I sit and type this, I feel like I am giving you "double talk". But what can I say, that seems like what I am getting!
Today, I called to check on mom (snow, car trouble preventing me from going up). The nurse said mom has pneumonia. (Tuesday, when I talked to Dr. L. I specifically asked if she had pneumonia. He said, "She is being treated for CHF and the cough is from that) A Pulmonologist saw her this morning. She is getting breathing treatments now. But Dr. Little said her color looks better and she "sounds better". Her weight is good, having lost 2 pounds. (hopefully, water weight) I can't figure out how she is better if on top of the CHF she has pneumonia.
If any of you who are nurses can enlighten me, please do.
